My first speedrun in the industry.
I always knew I wanted to work with video games, but didn't know how and where. So I started to look for opportunities in order to get a first feel for the industry and finding my own personal quest.
Luckily, I was very fortunate to get a wide range of opportunities to learn, grow and get insights from:

During my bachelor's degree, I completed an internship as a Video Game Editor at Rocket Beans Entertainment GmbH, where I reviewed games, interviewed developers and reported on events such as E3 and Gamescom 2018 for the publicly funded programme GameTwo.
I got an insight into the day-to-day business of journalists working with developers and PR representatives and recognised the first "cogs in the machinery". Not only were these my first real steps in the industry, but I also made lasting contacts with various companies such as Square Enix, Webedia, Ubisoft and others.

After my bachelor's thesis on gaming influencers, I joined the marketing team at Ubisoft Blue Byte as an intern and later joined the Ubisoft studio in Düsseldorf as a Communications Coordinator, working on titles such as ANNO, Rainbow Six Siege, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin's Creed Nexus VR.
I was able to work closely with the developers and the entire studio operation to handle cross-studio communication tasks both internally and externally. With 400+ developers and employees in one location, I experienced and learned a lot about the processes of a game developer.

In order to understand how campaigns and strategies are brought to life by games marketers and brand managers, I happily joined – my current destionation – the activation agency build a rocket GmbH as an Esports & Gaming Creative.
This not only allowed me to integrate Esports – one of my passions – more into my everyday life, but also to realise creative campaigns, event booths, stunts and gaming events that inspired the gaming community.
